Amarinder Singh, the Punjab Chief Minister has announced Rs 42 crore as a dedicated fund to preserve the state’s cultural heritage.
According to an official spokesman, the fund would be used for the upkeep and maintenance of various cultural projects across the state.
Director, Tourism and Cultural Affairs Shivdular Singh Dhillon has already been instructed by the chief minister for ensuring proper upkeep and maintenance of all the cultural heritage projects in the state especially the Maharaja Dalip Singh Memorial in Ludhiana district.
