President Droupadi Murmu will award the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar to 17 children from 14 states and Union Territories, recognizing achievements in seven categories, including art, bravery, innovation, science, social service, sports, and environment.
The awardees, consisting of 7 boys and 10 girls, will receive a medal, certificate, and citation booklet.
The Veer Bal Diwas national program will take place at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurating the Suposhit Panchayat scheme for nutritional security.
The event will feature a march-past by children and cultural performances, with around 3,500 children participating.
Educational and creative activities, such as writing contests and quizzes, will engage children nationwide, with online platforms like MyGov also involved.
