The committee of directors of state-owned POWERGRID has approved a proposal to invest Rs 330.61 crore in power transmission projects.
In a filing with the BSE on Wednesday, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) said the company’s committee of directors had decided on the project investment on Tuesday.
“The Committee of Directors of Project Investment has approved the Investment Approval Transmission System from REZ (20GW) in Rajasthan under Part J of Phase 3 at an estimated cost of Rs 330.61 crore,” it said.
POWERGRID is part of the Ministry of Power and is the largest electric transmission utility in the country.
