PM Modi will inaugurate Kushinagar International Airport on October 20 and lay the foundation stone of a medical college. The first flight while the inaugural ceremony will be having the President of Sri Lanka, together with 125 delegates and Boudh pioneers from the nation, a government official told.

For the inauguration of the international airport, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath kept a meeting with BJP leaders and officials of Kushinagar on Friday. The Prime Minister will speak in a public meeting from the seven-hectare Barwa farm. Yogi Adityanath assigned tasks to MPs and MLAs to be in Kushinagar and take responsibility for preparations. He will visit Kushinagar on October 12 or 13.
