Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation today after the milestone of 100 crore vaccinations and said it was not just a number but a sign of India’s ability. He said the “100 crore vaccination mark is just not a number. It’s the reflection of the capacity of this country. This is a new chapter of India, a country that knows how to achieve big targets,” PM Modi said in his address to the nation.

PM Modi further said, “Everyone is comparing India to other countries but remember India’s beginning point was different. The other countries have already engaged in medicine and vaccination for a long time. Everyone inquired whether India will be able to do the needful, and completing 100 crore vaccine shots is the answer to all the questions.” PM Modi had written earlier in the day: “The drive from anxiety to assurance has happened, and our nation has developed stronger, thanks to the world’s largest vaccination drive. It has been a truly Bhagirathi effort having several sections of society.”
