Prime Minister Narendra Modi left New Delhi on Monday for a four-day visit to France and the United States.
He will be in France from 10th to 12th February at the invitation of President Emmanuel Macron and co-chair the AI Action Summit.
The leaders will travel to Marseille to inaugurate India’s first consulate in France and visit the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor project.
After the summit, they will address the India-France CEOs forum, followed by a dinner hosted by President Macron.
On 12th February, they will visit a war cemetery to honour Indian soldiers of World War 1.
PM Modi will then depart for the US for a two-day visit at President Donald Trump’s invitation, marking their first meeting since Trump began his second term.
The two leaders previously met in February 2020 and have had phone conversations in November 2024 and January 2025.
