Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched development projects totaling nearly Rs 12,850 crore and extended the Ayushman Bharat health insurance scheme to all citizens aged 70 and above.

The drone services were launched at the following institutions: AIIMS-Rishikesh (Uttarakhand), AIIMS-Bibinagar (Telangana), AIIMS-Guwahati (Assam), AIIMS-Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), AIIMS-Jodhpur (Rajasthan), AIIMS-Patna (Bihar), AIIMS-Bilaspur (Himachal Pradesh), AIIMS-Raebareli (Uttar Pradesh), AIIMS-Raipur (Chhattisgarh), AIIMS-Mangalagiri (Andhra Pradesh), and RIMS-Imphal (Manipur).

Additionally, the Prime Minister launched a helicopter emergency medical service from AIIMS Rishikesh to provide quick medical care.

Modi launched the U-WIN portal to digitise the vaccination process for pregnant women and infants, ensuring timely administration of vaccines against 12 preventable diseases. The portal will benefit children from birth to 16 years old.

The Prime Minister also introduced a portal for allied and healthcare professionals, creating a centralised database of healthcare workers and institutions.

Modi inaugurated three medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh at Mandsaur, Neemuch, and Seoni.

He extended facilities and services at various AIIMS, including Bilaspur (Himachal Pradesh), Kalyani (West Bengal), Patna (Bihar), Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Guwahati (Assam), and New Delhi, which also has a Jan Aushadhi Kendra.

Modi laid the foundation for five nursing colleges in Shivpuri, Ratlam, Khandwa, Rajgarh, and Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh.

He also announced 21 critical care blocks in Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Manipur, Tamil Nadu, and Rajasthan under the Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission, along with various facility extensions at AIIMS in New Delhi and Bilaspur.

Foundation stones were also laid for a central research institute in yoga and naturopathy in Khordha (Odisha) and Raipur (Chhattisgarh).
