Ahead of the Punjab polls, PM Narendra Modi will address the people of Budaun, Sambhal and Rampur in Uttar Pradesh and his first virtual rally in Punjab today. PM Modi will address people from 18 Assembly segments of Ludhiana and Fatehgarh Sahib parliamentary constituencies, according to a statement released by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The party has set up LED screens all over the 18 Assembly parts. Over 50,000 people will watch Prime Minister’s address. The party has also scheduled more rallies of PM Modi for upcoming days, the statement added.

PM Modi had visited Punjab on the 5th of January but had returned without laying foundation stones of development projects and addressing a rally as his convoy was stuck on a flyover for 20 minutes because of some protesters in Ferozepur. BJP is battling the State Assembly polls in alliance with the Amarinder Singh led Punjab Lok Congress, and Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa led Shiromani Akali Dal.
