PM Modi will respond to the debate on the Motion of Thanks to President Ram Nath Kovind‘s address to the Lok Sabha in the current going Budget Session of Parliament. The Budget Session started on 31st January with President Kovind’s speech to the Houses of Parliament. In his address, he told about the government’s achievements amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Rajya Sabha will start at 10 am, while the Lok Sabha will operate from 4 pm on Monday. Today, the Rajya Sabha will adjourn for one hour after paying tribute to Lata Mangeshkar, who died on February 6. The debate on the Motion of Thanks on his address started on 2nd February with both houses having 12 hours each for it. During the discussion, the members of BJP highlighted the government’s achievements, and the opposition attacked the Centre for its failure in fuel price rise and unemployment. The first part of the Budget Session will end on 11th February and the second part will start from 14th March and will last till 8th April.
