On September 5, 2022, at 4:30 pm, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet with the recipients of the 2022 National Awards to Teachers at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg.
The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) states that the goal of the National Awards to Teachers is to recognise and honour the distinctive contributions of some of the best teachers in the nation who, through their dedication and diligence, have not only enhanced the lives of their students but also improved the quality of education at the schools.
The National Awards to Teachers recognise deserving elementary and secondary school teachers in front of the general public.
This year, 45 teachers from throughout the nation were chosen for the prize after a rigorous and open online three-stage selection process.
On the eve of Teachers’ Day, Droupadi Murmu, the president of India, wished teachers a happy holiday.
“On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, I express my heartfelt wishes to all the teachers in our country,” the President wrote in a message.
Through fresh research, experimentation, and innovations, our teachers are constantly working to increase their skills and proficiency. Our educational system is undergoing adjustments as a result of the National Education Policy-2020.
