PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate the celebrations of the centenary year of Mathrubhumi on Friday through video-conferencing, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said. Mathrubhumi started operations on 18th March 1923 and has been pushing across social reforms and developmental agenda while also highlighting issues of national interest, it added.
