This AIIMS will be the second in Bihar, after the one in Patna, reducing the need for people to travel to AIIMS Delhi for treatment.

PM Modi laid the foundation for eight major National Highway projects, including two-lane roads from Ramnagar to Rosera and Bihar-West Bengal border to Manihari (NH-131A), and other key routes like Hajipur-Bachhwara and Sarwan-Chakai.

He also inaugurated railway projects worth Rs 1,740 crore, including the Sonenagar Bypass Railway Line and Jhanjharpur-Laukaha Bazar rail section.

MEMU trains were launched on the Jhanjharpur-Laukaha Bazar line to improve regional connectivity.

PM Modi inaugurated 18 Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Kendras at railway stations to provide affordable medicines to passengers.
