PM Narendra Modi dedicated 35 pressure swing adsorption (PSA) oxygen plants installed under PM CARES in 35 states and union territories. All districts of the country will have commissioned PSA oxygen plants, the central government said in a statement. He said India has increased healthcare infrastructure to fight the Covid-19 pandemic, with about 3,000 testing labs, vaccines, masks and kits.
PM expressed pride that India has contributed a total of 93 crore doses of coronavirus vaccines and also mentioned the success of the Cowin platform, which allowed the country’s colossal vaccination drive. He highlighted the work being done to have an AIIMS in every state, with the plan of having at least one medical college in every district.

“The Prime Minister said before the launch of the Jal Jeevan Mission in 2019, only 1,30,000 families in Uttarakhand had tap water. Today piped drinking water has to reach over 7,10,000 houses of Uttarakhand, and within just two years, about 6 lakh houses in the state have got water connections,” according to the statement.
