Patel Engineering announced that its Joint Venture (JV) has been declared as the lowest bidder for the irrigation project worth Rs 342.76 crore.
The filing added that the executive engineer, government of Maharashtra has declared Patel Engineering along with its JV Partner as lowest bidder for the Rs 342.76 crore project, where in this JV the company holds a 35% share.
In its regulatory filing, the company said that the project is located in the state of Maharashtra and has to be completed in a period of 24 months.
The contract involves the construction of a water lifting arrangement world for the first stage from submergence of the Jigaon project, including civil, mechanical, electrical components and allied works.
The company is based in Mumbai and is a engineering, procurement, and construction firm has with a strong presence in tunnels and underground works for hydroelectric and dam projects, and specialises in hydropower and irrigation projects.
