Patanjali Ayurveda has been facing significant pressure as its sales have declined 50 percent for the April-June quarter ahead of the Goods and Service Tax (GST) roll-out.
For FY18, the company has set an annual revenue target of Rs 20,000 crore.
Patanjali’s ayurvedic and personal products will come in the higher tax slabs after the rollout of GST that may impact product prices, but the company has said it won’t pass on the price hikes to the customers as it is likely to wait for price stabilisation before taking any price hike.
