Oppo, the smartphone maker, said that it is exploring the options of manufacturing in India, this move will help the Chinese firm to boost its presence in the increasing Indian handset market.
The company said that it is in discussion with the electronics major Foxconn for the facility and is likely to take a decision on it by October this year.
Oppo Mobiles India CEO Mike Wang said, “India is one of the most important part of our expansion plans around the world. We are exploring options. We are in discussions with Foxconn, its almost in the final stages, we will have more clarity by October.”
