On Monday, Ola launched its Ola S1 Air, the third electric scooter to debut in the country and a more affordable alternative to the Ola S1 and the Ola S1 Pro. The Ola S1 Air has a battery capacity of 2.5KWh and a top speed of 85kmph.

According to Ola Electric, the newly launched electric scooter offers an ARAI range of 101 km and a normal range of 76 km. Like the other scooters launched by the company, it is equipped with software features like navigation, a companion app, music, and reverse mode.

The company also revealed the latest version of its operating system, Move OS 3, at the launch event. The Ola S1 Air will run on the next version of the company’s operating system, while by the end of the year, existing models will be updated to MoveOS 3, gaining features such as proximity-based unlocking digital key sharing, document feature, and improved regen braking.

According to the company, Ola S1 Air’s price in India is around Rs. 85 thousand, which is the introductory ex-showroom price for the scooter, including FAME II subsidy and excluding state subsidies. It will be sold in varied colours like Coral Glam, Liquid Silver, Jet Black, Neo Mint, and Porcelain White colour options.
