Ola, the taxi hailing app has associated with the Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) and Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) in which over 20,000 petrol pumps will accept payment through Ola’s mobile wallet Ola Money.

Ola has said in a statement that “Users cans now pay for their fuel with Ola Money on Verifone-enabled PoS devices in any of these fuel stations, with a one step mobile verification process.”

It added that acceptance of Ola Money in major public utilities and now fuel stations across the country is major step forward by large PSUs which are supporting the government’s vision of a Digital India.
