Ola, the Indian taxi aggregator app has partnered with Didi, Lyft and GrabTaxi which will allow these ride sharing apps’s users to seamlessly travel across India, China, The US and Southeast Asia.
A joint statement said that the new alliance will cover nearly all of Southeast Asia, India, China and the US, reaching nearly 50 percent of the world’s population.
It further added that joint partner products will start rolling out in the January-March 2016 quarter.
This partnership will enable these companies to jointly compete with the US based Uber which has a presence across 67 countries.
