Nissan is preparing to construct new battery recycling factories in the United States and Europe by 2025. The company is thinking to recycle batteries and reusing them in electric vehicles (EVs), which would help to decrease the production costs of rare metals.
The company had announced last month about its electrification push and committed to spending 2 trillion yen in the next five years to boost vehicle electrification. The company also said that they plan to launch 23 electrified vehicles, including 15 EVs, by 2030.
