Nissan Motor India on Wednesday launched a highly technological and competitive compact vehicle in SUV segment Magnite at an introductory starting price of Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Magnite comes with both the manual and automatic transmissions. It will be competing with models of business rivals Maruti Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and Honda WR-V. The competing models are priced at much higher rate than Magnite which will give Nissan a competitive edge over rivals. 
The all new Magnite comes with one litre petrol variants starting from Rs 4.99 lakh to Rs 7.55 lakh while the one litre turbo petrol trims are priced between Rs 6.99 lakh to Rs 8.45 lakh. The turbo petrol CVT (Continuous Variable Transmission) variants are tagged between Rs 7.89 lakh Rs 9.35 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). The introductory pricing on the models would be applicable for bookings till 31st December, 2020.
It comes with dual airbag system, anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), vehicle dynamic control (VDC), hydraulic brake assist (HBA), traction control system (TCS), hill start assist (HSA), central locking and 205 mm of ground clearance making Magnite a safer option. Other features on Magnite includes cruise control, 360-degree around view monitor, ambient mood lighting, connectivity and wireless charging, high-end speakers, air purifier, puddle lamps and 60-40 split foldable rear seats among others.
