The November futures contract closed at 18,482.35, a premium of 78.95 points compared with the closing Nifty of 18,403.40 in the cash market.
On the National Stock Exchange, the F&O (futures & options) segment was Rs 136.02 lakh crore compared to Rs 91.88 lakh crore posted in the previous session.

Reportedly, in the cash market, the Nifty 50 index went up 74.25 points or 0.41 per cent to settle at 18,403.40. The NSE India VIX, a gauge expectation of market volatility over the near term, fell 1.84 per cent to 14.6350.
Reliance Industries (RIL), HDFC and Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone were the top-traded individual stock futures contracts in the F&O segment of NSE. The F&O of November 2022 F&O contracts will be expired on 24 November 2022.
