Wipro has posted a 11.85% QoQ decrease in consolidated net profit at Rs.1,930.10 crore for the quarter ended December 31,2017. Last year, in the corresponding quarter it had reported a net profit of Rs.2,189.60 crore.
Revenue from operations went up 1.83% YoY to Rs.13,669 crore for the December quarter, while in the corresponding quarter last year it was Rs.13,423.40 crore.
Furthermore, for the December quarter Wipro has concluded buyback of 343.75 million equity shares, which resulted in a total cash outflow of Rs.11,000 crore.
