Vistara has registered a year-on-year growth of 80 percent in passenger flown during the first four month of the 2017 calender year.

Between January and April 2017, Vistara flew 1.15 million passengers as compared to 640,000 during the same period of previous year.

The airline said in a release that “The improved performance was driven by higher utilisation of aircraft compared to the same period last year, coupled with a 7 percentage point increase in its average load factors from 75 percent to 82 percent. The number of destinations flown increased by 46 percent from 13 to 19.”
