Unichem Laboratories has got the US health regulator’s approval for Piroxicam Capsules that are used in treating osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, in the US market.
Unichem Laboratories has said in a BSE filing that “it has received ANDA approval from the United States Food and Durg Administration (USFDA) for Piroxicam Capsules USP 10mg and 20mg.”
Piroxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) indicated for relief of the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis (OA) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
Unichem Laboratories has said that the product is going to be commercialised from its Goa plant.
