Uber, the US-based cab aggregator has said that it will be expanding its carpooling service to three more Indian cities that are Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai on June 5.
In India, the service has been launched before six months and is currently available in Delhi and Bengaluru.
Amit Jain, Uber India President has said that this service “uberPOOL enables people going the same way at the same time to share their journey, bringing carpooling at the tap of a button. More people in fewer cars means cheaper rides for passenger and less congestion over time.”
