Tata Power has said that it has completed the construction of a 187 megawatt hydro project at a cost of over USD 420 million in Georgia.
In Georgia, the Shuakhevi hydroelectric projects is the largest hydro power plant to be built in past five decades.
The company has said in a statement that “The construction of the plant started in the fall of 2013. As a part of this project, one weir and two dams with their respective reservoirs and connecting tunnels have been constructed to divert water for power generation.”
