Tata Power on Wednesday said that it has commissioned a 24 MW wind farm in Gujarat.

“Tata Power successfully commissioned 24 MW wind farm at Rojmal in Gujarat through its subsidiary, Tata Power Renewable Energy (TPREL),” the company said in a statement.

The project’s total capacity is 54 MW and with the commissioning of 24 MW capacity, Tata Power has now a portfolio of 511 MW wind energy.

This 24 MW wind capacity has been expected to generate around 52 million units per year.

The company’s wind farms are located across states like Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
