Tata Motors has posted a 6 percent increase in the total sales at 43,061 units in August.
During the same month of previous year, the company has sold 40,679 units.
The domestic sales of commercial and passenger vehicles of the company grew 3 percent to 36,466 units in August over the same month of last year.
According to a statement by Tata Motors, the sales of passenger vehicles in the domestic market grew 16 percent to 13,002 units last month as compared to 11,163 in the year ago period.
