Energy Efficiency Services Limited(EESL) stated that, it will receive 10,000 electric vehicles from Tata Motors ,as it has been the lowest bidder.
Tata Motors, M&M and Nissan were all in competition for the EESL contract for providing 10,000 electric vehicles over the next 12 months.
The vehicle will be provided by Tata Motors, to EESL for Rs.11.2 lakh,inclusive of GST and a comprehensive 5 year warranty.
As per Business Standard report,in the first phase 500 electric cars will be delivered over a period of 3 months and in the second phase 9,500 electric cars will be delivered over a period of nine months.
