Tata Motors has posted a 12 percent hike in its global sales in July at 98,534 units that includes those of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) vehicles.
Tata Motors has said in a statement that the company had sold 88,159 units in July 2016.
During the last month, in the passenger vehicles category, the global sales stood at 66,508 units as compared to 57,796 of the same period of previous year that shows a growth of 15 percent.
The sales of its luxury brand Jaguar Land Rover were up 17 percent to 51,425 units in July as compared to 43,932 in the same month of 2016.
According to the company its commercial vehicles sales increased by 5 percent to 32,026 units as compared to 30,363 in the year ago period.
