According to an Indian Official, the US based SunEdision Inc has won a bid for selling solar power in India at a record low tariff of 4.63 rupees (USD 0.0706) per kilowatt hour.
Upendra Tripathy, new and renewal energy secretary said that the auction for a 500 megawatt project in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh has been won by the company.
He further added that the previous low was 5.05 rupees per koliwatt-hour.
