The online marketplace Snapdeal.com has named Govind Rajan, Bharti AIrtel’s senior executive, as its chief strategy officer.
The appointment will be effective from August later this year.
According to a press statement by Snapdeal, Rajan, prior to his latest appointment served as the chief marketing officer for Bharti’s B2C business.
It also stated that presently, Rajan also served as the chief executive of Airtel Money.
Over the past 12 months, Rajan’s appointment is the latest in a series of high-profile hires by Snapdeal.
