In early trade on Friday, the rupee declined by 3 paise to 63.65 against the US dollar, extended weakness for the second day at the Interbank Foreign Exchange on account of the appreciation of American currency overseas.

In previous session, due to the dollar demand from banks and importers, the rupee had shed 2 paise, closed at 63.62 against the US currency.
