Reliance Communications (RCom) has received notice from the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), regarding a a petition filed by Manipal Technologies Ltd seeking its due.
The claim due of Rs.2.7 crore is for the biometrics fingerprint scanners, which were supplied to Rcom in the year 2016. The money for this, was not paid by RCom as it claimed that, the invoices were made in the name of HP financial services instead of RCom.
Manipal Technologies had approached the National Company Law Tribunal before, but it rejected its petition and accepted RCom’s arguments.
As a result of this, Manipal Technologies approached the NCLAT and the appellate tribunal has agreed to hear the matter on December 4.
