PM Narendra Modi rejected US President Donald Trump‘s offer to mediate the dispute of India with Pakistan Over Kashmir. He also added that two South Asian neighbours can resolve all issues bilaterally.
PM Modi made the remark while interacting with reporters in interview, sitting next to Trump, there is a formal bilateral exchange between the two leaders.
US President Trump and PM Modi were interacting on the sidelines of the G7 summit in the French town of Biarritz. TThe talk was held amid Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan himself the ‘ambassador of Kashmir’ after India abrogated provisions of Article 370 of the Constitution, evoke a strong reaction from its western neighbour.
Also, Khan warned that rising tensions with India can spark a nuclear war. However, several countries have urged both sides to sort out their differences on their own.
“There are many bilateral issues between India and Pakistan, and we don’t want to trouble any third country. We can discuss and resolve these issues bilaterally,” said PM Modi when Trump asked about mediation offers on the table.
