Today, General Bipin Rawat, Chief of Defence Staff, General Manoj Mukund Naravane, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Karambir Singh attended the 88th-anniversary celebration of Indian Air Force Day at Hindon airbase. Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria, IAF Chief inspected the parade on 88th Indian Air Force Day celebration.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the Indian Air Force on its foundation day and said that the courage, valour and dedication of soldiers to protect the country to inspire every citizen of the nation. In a tweet on the 88th Anniversary of IAF, he lauded the force and said that its brave soldiers do not only protect the Indian skies but also play a leading role in serving the humanity during any crisis.
President Ram Nath Kovind on the occasion of Air Force Day tweeted, “On Air Force Day, we proudly honour our air warriors, veterans, and families of the Indian Air Force.” Mr Kovind appreciated the brave soldiers for their dedication to protect the country and always be their when the country needs them in Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief.
Ken Juster, US Ambassador to India congratulates Indian Air Force on 88th anniversary and said, “Defence cooperation is a cornerstone of the US-India relationship, as we work together to secure a free, open, and rules-based Indo-Pacific region.”
