Ola which is the largest cab aggregator of India, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra Government for developing and creating quality opportunities for entrepreneurship for 1,00,000 youth in the state including women.
Ola will be working towards skilling people to be independent driver-entrepreneurs over the next five years according to this MoU.
Ola will work with the Maharashtra Government for expanding its network of driver owned cabs across multiple categories like Micro, Mini, Prime etc. as well as to Black and Yellow taxis and Autorickshaws in the state via giving improved access to training, technology and revenue for aspiring driver-partners.
