NBCC has made home buyers aware of that it would rely on monetizing the latter’s assets rather than investing their own funds to complete the stuck projects. NBCC also assured home buyers that Jaypee Infratech’s pending projects will be completed within 3 years if its acquisition bid gets accepted.
NBCC and Suraksha Asset Reconstruction company have submitted separate bids to take their hold on Jaypee Infratech as it’s under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Process
In a meeting organized on the request of home buyers, it had come up that about 250 home buyers from 9 different associations with a total of 9000 buyers met the governing authority of NBCC to find out the clarity on completion of projects, schedule, and financing.
“It is for the first time a public sector undertaking (PSU) is bidding to safeguard or resolve issues of home buyers. Our aim is to get you relief, but as a company also we wouldn’t want to incur losses,” Anoop Kumar Mittal, CMD, NBCC, told home buyers.
He added, “We will definitely try and give your home within 3 years, and will further try to reduce the timelines.”
