The National Aluminium Company Ltd has all its overseas projects on hold including the one in Iran for the purpose of focusing on expansion of domestic capacity, says its chairman.
The chairman Tapan Kumar Chand has said that “Iran’s proposal is attractive as long as gas prices are attractive, but not much of an indication in that area has come.”
He further said that the company aims to increase its production by 14 percent to 440,000 tonnes in 2017/18.
