The leading provider of research-based indices and analytics, MSCI Inc. announced the semi-annual index review for the MSCI Equity Index including the MSCI India Index and MSCI India Domestic Small Cap index.
According to the changes announced on May 13, the research firm included ICICI Lombard General Insurance in the MSCI India Domestic Index while deleted Cadila Healthcare from it.
The research firm added 14 stocks in the MSCI India Domestic Small Cap index. They are Abbot India, Aavas Financiers, AstraZeneca Pharma, Adani Gas, Chalet Hotels, Balrampur Chini, Indostar Capital Finance, Credit Acess Grameen, L&T Technology Services, Oil India, Maharashtra Scooters, Sanofi India, Orient Electric and TCNS Clothing.
On the other end, it deleted 10 stocks from the MSCI India Domestic Small-cap index. They include DCM Shriram, Gujarat Mineral, CESC Ventures, Reliance Power, Reliance Communication, Shankara Building, SH Kelkar, Triveni Turbine, Shankara Building, Supreme Petro and Spencer Retail.
