Motherson Sumi Systems, consolidated profit during the quarter ended March 31,2018, rose by 9.2 % year-on-year to Rs.518.4 crore.

The company in the same quarter last year reported a profit of Rs.475 crore. Revenue from operations in March quarter went up 36.9% to Rs.15,408 crore, compared to same period last year as Samvardhana Motherson Peguform (SMP) showed 21% growth and Samvardhana Motherson Reflectec (SMR) reported 6% growth.

Consolidated EBITDA in Q4 rose by 17.8% to Rs.1,419 crore, but margin fell 150 basis points to 9.2%  compared to same quarter last year. Furthermore, other income were reported at Rs.61.5 crore during the quarter under review, as against Rs.124.6 crore in corresponding period of last fiscal.
