The upcoming Renault’s version, Renault Triber, a 7-seater vehicle will be making its first global debut in India on June 19, 2019. And the new Renault Triber MPV is expected to get launched in the second half of the same year, possibly around Diwali, and the car is already undergoing testing in India.
Renault India has confirmed the upcoming Triber will be positioned in India between Kwid and its SUV offering. Renault India’s new compact MPV, is an all-new model based on the modified version of the Kwid’s CMF-A platform.
The upcoming Renault Triber will be a compact MPV, similar to the Datsun GO+, but it will not be a sub-4 metre vehicle like the last. Triber being said that, it is also expected to be a lot more stiff, offering improved crash capacity and more safety features to make it amenable with the strict safety standards that will be effective from October 2019.
