Maruti Suzuki India (MSI), the largest carmaker of the country has posted a 13.3 percent increase in the total sales in April at 1,26,569 units as compared to 1,11,748 units of last year.
The domestic sales of the company has increased by 16.2 percent during the month to 1,17,045 units compared to 1,00,709 units of previous year.
MSI has said in a statement that however, the sales of mini-segment cars that includes Alto and WagonR declined 9.9 percent to 31,906 units as compared to 35,403 units in the year ago period.
