Maruti Suzuki India has sold 1,72,512 units in May 2018. This is 26% more than the sales done by the company in the same period last year.

Last year in the same period the company sold 1,36,962 units. The growth for the period under review was largely due to compact cars (Dzire, Swift and Baleno) and utility vehicles (Vitara Brezza and Ertiga).

Further, domestic sales rose by 24.9% YoY to 1,63,200 units, while exports sales jumped 48.1% to 9,312 units in May 2018.
