On March 29, Larsen & Toubro announced a new strategic initiative called L&T-Nxt, working on areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), virtual reality, augmented reality, geospatial solutions and cybersecurity.
The company in a statement said, “has reached a critical juncture in its developmental cycle, L&T is training its sights towards accelerating top line and bottom line growth. At the same time, it is expanding its potential for value creation by adopting a fresh mindset and building a new structure ground up.”
Adding to the statement he said, “we are committing significant investments and talent into this strategic effort and are confident that this will be an enabler for business.”
