L&T Construction has received an order worth Rs.8,650 crore, from Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA).
The order is for construction of Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL), packages 01 & 03. It involves construction of a 21.8km bridge, which will connect Mumbai mainland with Navi Mumbai.
Further, as per, L&T’s exchange filing, L&T Construction’s heavy civil infrastructure vertical won Packages 1 and 3 of the project, and it aims to connect the city with its suburban twin Navi Mumbai through the longest sea bridge in the country.
