Larsen & Toubro’s construction arm has received orders worth Rs 2,490 crore.

The company has said in a statement that “the building & Factories business segment of the construction arm of L&T has won orders worth Rs 2,490 crore.”

It further said that “A mega order has been bagged from a premier government organisation for the construction of hospital building, a medical institute, a nursing college, a school for paramedics, an auditorium, hostels, residential quarters along with associated works, in New Delhi.”

A design and build order has also been secured from a prestigious client for constructing a state-of-the-art technical building in Maharashtra.

The company has also received an order for construction of a residential project at Bengaluru.

The scope does include construction of shell and core works. The business has also got an additional orders from the ongoing jobs.
