KEC International which is an engineering, procurement and construction major has got new orders worth Rs 1,781 crore.

KEC International has said in a BSE filing that the company has got international orders worth Rs 1,270 crore for the transmission and distribution business whereas domestic orders are worth Rs 432.

It has said that the domestic orders include contract from PGCIL for construction of 800 k HVDC transmission line and construction and extension of 765/400 kV GIS/AIS substations.

Further, the cable and solar business have got various orders for cable supply/EHV cabling/rooftop solar projects of Rs 79 crore.
