Democratic Vice Presidential nominee Kamala Harris said that the US government has two systems of justice for Black and White Americans and denied President Donald Trump and his Attorney General for systemic racism in the US justice system.
Kamala Harris, first Black and Indian-American woman on a major party vice-presidential ticket came less than two months from the US presidential election. Democratic Party’s presidential candidate Joe Biden and Harris are challenging incumbent President Donald Trump and Vice President of Republican Party Mike Pence in the election held on November 3.
Harris has strongly criticised President Trump and his Attorney General William Barr by denying that there is systemic racism in the country’s justice system, and saying that they are “spending full time in a different reality.” Harris in an interview told CNN, “The reality of America today is what we have seen over generations and, frankly, since our inception, which is, we do have two systems of justice in America”.
On racial justice, she suggested that Trump is not a “real leader” and trying to pretend that he has been a great leader on the coronavirus pandemic. Harris refers to the effects of coronavirus, said, “Donald Trump’s failure has cost lives and livelihoods”.
